That means people like terrorists, convicted felons, and domestic abusers will be able to print functional guns out of plastic that won't be detected by metal detectors. We only have UNTIL FRIDAY to STOP THIS:  SEND YOUR MESSAGE: Demand that the State Department STOP the distribution of downloadable guns! >> At the end of the week, anyone with a regular internet connection and access to a 3D printer will be legally allowed to make their own illegal and untraceable guns. That means anyone can download these files and print a functional, untraceable gun! Send a message to the State Department demanding they stop this from becoming our new reality. I really can't overstate just how dangerous this will be: People who can't pass a background check, including terrorists, felons, and domestic abusers will be able to print their own functional guns. Many of these guns can be printed entirely in plastic, so metal detectors won't detect them — putting our planes, music festivals, and government buildings in danger. Law enforcement will not be able to trace any plastic guns recovered at crime scenes — stalling their criminal investigations before they even start.
